摘要 PURPOSE:To ensure an optimum controllability by calculating a side slipping angle on the basis of acceleration and yaw rate in the longitudinal and widthwise directions of car body and comparing said angle with the upper and lower limit values of side slipping angle set according to the steering angle and the distributive ratio of front wheel to rear one drive force to control front and rear clutches. CONSTITUTION:The longitudinal and widthwise acceleration generated in a vehicle is detected by respective sensors 22, 23, a yaw rate by a sensor 29 and a steering angle by steering sensor 24 respectively to figure out a side sliding angle. The steering angle is compared with the upper and lower limit values preset by a map according to the distributive ratio of front wheel to rear one drive force to control controlling valves 9, 10 and obtain the optimum distributive ratio of front wheel to rear one drive force by turning on and off a wet multiple disk clutches 5, 6 provided on respective drive shaft section of front and rear wheels. Thus, a slip on a traveling road surface varying the coefficient of friction in turning is prevented to ensure the controllability of vehicle in turning travelling.
