PURPOSE:To separate a ring section as a product out of a rubber sheet by sliding inner and outer punches relatively in the axial direction after punching with the inner and outer punches. CONSTITUTION:A punch unit body 8 is lowered as shown by the arrow mark G, and a pinch-off section 30 is cut with a nose section 25 of the outer peripheral edge of an outer punch 7 to separate a ring section 1 and an outer scrap 6. Then, by lowering the outer punch 7 and an inner punch 5, a pinch-off section 28 is cut with the inner punch 5 to separate an inner scrap 4 and the ring section 1. Next, while the outer scrap 6 is held by a receiving board 3, by lifting up the punch unit body 8 shown by the arrow mark H, the ring section 1 separated from the inner and outer scraps 4 and 6 is brought into contact with the outer peripheral face of the inner punch 5 and also with the conical face 24 of the outer punch 7, being floated up together with the punch unit body 8. By removing the outer scrap 6 in the direction of arrow mark K, sliding relatively the inner and outer punches 5 and 7 in the axial direction, and putting the end of the inner punch 5 into the outer punch 7, a seal ring 31 is dropped and can be taken out of a rubber sheet 2.
