Use of seaweed powders and by-products from the alginate industry. The invention is a novel application of seaweed powders and cellulosic sludges originating from the alginate industry, which consists in incorporating, homogeneously or otherwise, one or other of these compounds or a mixture of both in fodder-plant ensilage, for the purposes of preservation and improvement of the quality.
