PURPOSE:To realize magnetic recording with high bit density by forming a magnetic gap wall part composed of the material of the ferromagnetic substance of a core chip top part in a thin convexed shape. CONSTITUTION:The parts (m) and (m) which are composed of the material of the ferromagnetic substance of the top part 23 of the core chip 21 are formed in order that both side walls of the magnetic gap (g) become the thin convexed shape. By sending electricity to the coil 29 of a magnetic head 20, rapid winding magnetic flux occurs because the width of the thin convexed shape part (m) is narrow. At this time, near the magnetic gap (g) of the top part 23 of the magnetic head 20 the leakage flux phi' emerges with the aid of the magnetic flux phio' in the thin convexed shape parts (m) and (m). As for the leakage magnetic flux phi', the vertical component phia' becomes larger than the horizontal component phib' against the magnetic recording medium 4. With the vertical component phia' of the leakage magnetic flux phi' the magnetic recording medium 4 is extremely locally magnetized in a vertical direction and vertical fine magnetic domains 6, 6... are sequentially formed in a specified pattern every recording bit 5, 5... of the magnetic recording medium 4. |
