PURPOSE:To obtain the titled synthetic fiber having excellent heat-resistance and weather resistance, permanent antistaticity and good yarn spinnability and yarn properties, by including a reaction product of a specific oxide adduct and an ester in a thermoplastic fiber-forming polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective synthetic fiber is produced by including (A) a reaction product of (i) an alkylene oxide adduct of glycerol and/or trimethylolpropane and (ii) an alkyl dicarboxylate in (B) a thermoplastic fiber- forming polymer. Preferably, the component (i) is a random or block addition polymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide having an average molecular weight of 2,000-30,000 and an addition polymerization ratio of ethylene oxide of >=60wt% and the component (ii) is an aromatic dicarboxylic acid alkyl ester. Furthermore, it is preferable that the component A has an average molecular weight of 5,000-60,000 and is added to molten component B.
