PURPOSE:To enable simultaneous using of a plurality of goniometers which use different characteristic X-rays by disposing a plurality of different elements, which generate required characteristic X-rays, on a surface of an anti-cathode irradiated with electron beams. CONSTITUTION:A metallic Cr 1 and a metallic Mo 2 are disposed in series on a surface of an anti-cathode irradiated with electron beams 5 and in the rotational direction of the anti-cathode. When this anti-cathode 8 is rotated around a rotating axis 4 and irradiated with the electron beams 5 coming from a filament 3, the beams 5 impinge on Cr atoms and Mo atoms, and so Cr-Kalpha rays and Mo-Kalpha rays are generated as characteristic X-rays from the respective atoms. When the anti-cathode in such composition is used to form a non-enclosed type X-ray tube bulb of anit-cathode rotation, a high cooling effect of the anti- cathode enables strong radiation of the beams 5, so that two species of strong characteristic X-rays can be generated from a single anti-cathode.
