PURPOSE:To easily change engine speed ratio by providing a transmission mechanism for transmitting power of an engine to auxiliary machinery, which comprises two pairs of V-belt transmission mechanisms disposed in parallel, wherein a one-way clutch is disposed in one of the transmission mechanisms and a clutch mechanism is disposed in the other thereof. CONSTITUTION:A V-pulley 6 is firmly fixed to a crankshaft 4 of an engine 2, and a V-pulley 8 is rotatably fixed adjacent to the pulley 6. An electromagnetic clutch main body 12 is rotatably mounted adjacent to the pulley 8 on an extension portion of the crankshaft 4. In this arrangement, when an electromagnet 12a is excited, an armature 12b is attracted against a spring to bring a contact element mounted on the forward end thereof into contact with the pulley 8, so that both pulleys 6, 8 can be united in a body. On the other hand, a V-pulley 26 is rotatably mounted on an input shaft 24 of a hydraulic pump 22 for power steering through a one-way clutch 30, a V-pulley 32 is firmly fixed thereto, and V-belts 70, 72 are extended between the pulleys 6, 26 and between the pulleys 8, 32, respectively. |
