In a device for connecting two tool parts, a cylindrical spigot (2), which is surrounded by an annular surface running perpendicularly to the spigot axis (A), is provided on the first tool part (1). The second tool part (6) has a bore (7), which is surrounded by an annular front face, for reception of the spigot (2). The spigot (2) has a transverse bore (4) with a clamping bolt (5) which is radially displaceable therein and is provided, at one end, with a conical projection (5b) which co-operates with a conical recess (18) on the second tool part (6). A clamping screw (17) provided with a projection (17a) can be radially screwed in the second tool part (6) and engages in a recess (5a) at the other end of the clamping bolt (5). The spigot (2) engages in the bore (7) with play. Four adjusting screws (19), offset by in each case 90@ relative to one another, can be screwed into the second tool part (6) in the vicinity of the front face (8), their inner ends (19a) reaching into the bore (7) and being supported on the spigot (2). <IMAGE>
