摘要 In the case of known weapon systems having a part which can pivot in the elevation direction and contains the weapon barrel, the centre of gravity of the part which can pivot is in general located outside the rotation axis of the trunnion. The unbalanced moment which occurs is compensated for by means of spring systems or linear cylinders which are connected to a hydraulic reservoir system. The devices require large installation spaces and have large intrinsic weights. The new compensation device is intended to occupy a very small amount of space and to have a low intrinsic weight while ensuring good compensation for the unbalanced moment at high elevation angles. That part (3) of the weapon which can pivot in the elevation direction is rotationally coupled to the output drive shaft (7.3) of a hydraulic rotating cylinder (7), in the case of which at least one of the pressure liquid (hydraulic fluid) connections (7.1, 7.2) is connected to a hydraulic reservoir via a hydraulic system. The compensation device is primarily suitable for use in the case of heavy weapons, for example cannons on combat tanks or artillery howitzers and armoured howitzers. In the case of relatively light weapons, the hydraulic rotation cylinder can also be directly coupled to the shaft trunnion. <IMAGE>
