The invention relates to a measuring device for elements of continuous-casting plants, such as segments of the guide roller path or of the top and bottom frame, and is characterised in that this device has a measuring system with an inherently rigid measuring-probe carrier with a number of measuring probes corresponding to the measuring points, the measuring-probe carrier or measuring-probe carriers being arranged in a rigid measuring frame in a direction transversely to the longitudinal axis of the object to be measured.
