Photographic photosensitive (light-sensitive) silver-halide materials do not exhibit any distorted grain effect (emulsion reticulation) on processing at high termperatures and do not tend to become soiled during development processing if they have a lower protective layer containing acid-lined gelatine and an upper protective layer containing an instant curing agent, where at least one of the protective layers contains a surface-active polymer of oxyalkylene monomers.
