The invention relates to an adhesive application device on a shoe toe lasting machine for the shoe unit, consisting of insole and shoe shaft, arranged on a last, with an adhesive application stamp having adhesive outlet openings for the application of adhesive on the edge region of the insole, the adhesive application stamp having two legs which are pivotable in relation to one another at a spacing laterally about journals in such a manner that the legs in the working position rest along the edges of the insole, the journals being arranged on the rear end of an approximately V-shaped front part of the adhesive application stamp and the legs forming extensions of the front part, if appropriate. The improvement of such an adhesive application device consists in that an adjustment device is provided, which carries out the adjustment of the legs in the spacing from one another automatically depending upon the position of the heel support.
