The invention relates to a process for producing pipes, in particular concrete pipes or reinforced concrete pipes, with an interior plastic lining on the ends of which plastic rings are arranged which have an annular groove or/and a bearing surface for a sealing profile. It should be possible to carry out the process with low time consumption and a good liquid-impermeable and frictional bond. It is proposed that the plastic lining (21) is inserted with one of its ends into a groove (9) of a horizontally arranged casting mould (3), the groove having a cross-section corresponding to the plastic ring (44, 52). The plastic lining (21) is brought with its inner surface (25) to bear against an annular inner groove wall (13) parallel to the longitudinal axis (7) and subsequently the groove (9) is completely filled with a casting composition (29). Said casting composition (29) forms an impermeable bond with the plastic lining (21) and forms the plastic ring (44, 52). <IMAGE>
