Circuit arrangement for determining the distance and direction of faults in a power distribution system

The circuit arrangement has at least one fault locator which exhibits outputs for digital signals which specify if and at what distance from the fault locator a fault has occurred in the monitored line section of the power distribution system. The outputs (2) of the fault locator are connected to a control circuit (4) exhibiting a digital/analogue converter (8). The control circuit is followed by a telecontrol device (11), which receives analogue signals at least at one input (12) and which is connected to a high-level master station via a transmission channel. <IMAGE>
