1350155 Filling valve sacks CEMENTA AB 25 June 1971 [26 June 1970] 29797/71 Heading B8C A frusto-conical valve member 5 co-operates with a filling tube 3 and with the sack valve 9 to form a one way valve permitting air to leave 'the sack but not to enter it. Thus, entry of air to the sack at the beginning of a filling operation is avoided. The valve member 5 is secured to the tube 3 and has its wider end 7 free to contact the sack valve 9. The lower part of the member 5 may be thinner than the upper part, or may be grooved, so that the valve remains effective towards the end of a filling operation. The outside of the member 5 may be ridged to improve contact with the sack valve. |
