PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily and quickly display the capacity limit of the hot water supplier by imparting beforehand the inherent capacity to the hot water supplier and detecting the amount of water, the temperature of incoming water and a set temperature. CONSTITUTION:From a water amount Q1 detected by water amount detecting means 1, an incoming water temperature Ti detected by incoming water temperature detecting means 2 and a set temperature Ts set by temperature setting means 3, a set capacity Gs is computed by equation, Gs=(Ts-Ti).Q1. The inherent capacity G of the hot water supplier is compared with the result of the computation Gs of the computation means 4 by comparison means 5. When the result of comparison is Gs>G, display means 6 outputs a capacity limit display signal. If the result is not Gs>G, a normal display signal is outputted. Thus, in a case where a hot water amount greater than the capacity is desired to be obtained, even if such a phenomenon that hot water of a set temperatrue is not obtained occurs, the user can clearly obtain the reason, and use hot water with ease.
