PURPOSE:To reduce the max value consisting of the surface pressure of a slidable part and the sliding speed by crossing each axis center of a cylinder block and a piston at an arbitrary angle when the axis center of the cylinder block and the axis center of the piston are observed to be superposed, form the outer periphery of the cylinder block. CONSTITUTION:Each piston 3 installed liquid tightly and in slidable ways in a plurality of cylinders formed a cylinder block 1 is moved in reciprocation in the axial direction. In this case, if the axis center 1a of the cylinder block 1 and the axis center 3a of the piston 3 are observed from the outer periphery of the cylinder block 1, the axis centers 1a and 3a are crossed at an arbitrary angle alpha. For example, at the position where a cylinder chamber 15 is allowed to communicate to a high pressure port, and the piston 3 advances by 90 deg. from the bottom dead center, the axis center 3a is set nearly vertical to the inclined surface 5a of a swash plate 5, and the axis center of a slipper pad 4 is set onto a same line to the axis center 3a of the piston 3. Therefore, the max value consisting of the surface peressure of a slidable part and the sliding speed is reduced.
