<p>PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a detection signal and to prevent the quality deterioration of a picture by passing an inter-frame difference signal through a band-pass filter that passes a specific frequency component, then obtaining the absolute value of a signal, comparing the magnitudes of thus obtained consecutive sampling data obtained by removing an isolated point, using a larger signal as a moving detection signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal generated by A/D-converting a video signal is supplied to an input terminal 37. From the pieces of this signal, a difference signal is generated from within on frame or from two frames by frame memories 38, 39 and an inter-frame difference signal generation circuit 40. This inter-frame difference signal is supplied to an absolute value circuit 42 via the band-pass filter 41. A resulting signal is supplied to a median filter 43, then compared in magnitude a signal delayed by one sampling clock length with one sampling delay circuit 44, and a larger signal of the two is selected. In such a way, moving detection signals whose lacking parts are interpolated which is highly accurate are generated.</p> |
