PURPOSE:To transmit a confidential communication text for plural persons to one terminal by transmitting the confidential communication text after a receiver collates his own object specific person number and a corresponding password number through a communication network when receiving the communication text. CONSTITUTION:One terminal has plural object specific person numbers and corresponding password numbers, and an object specific person number is given besides the terminal number of the receiver at the time of transmitting a confidential communication text to store the confidential communication text in the communication network, and the object specific person number is given at the time of reporting this transmission to the receiver from the communication network to report it. When detecting that the confidential communication text destined for the receiver himself exists, the receiver inputs a special number to call a facsimile communication network 12 from the telephone of a facsimile terminal 13 and hears the input permission signal from an exchange 20 to input a number indicating the confidential communication for specific person, the specific person number, and the preliminarily registered password number. An exchange processor 21 collates this password number with password numbers stored in a memory 22; and if the collation result is correct, it is reported to a store and forward device 19 and this device 19 transmits the communication text to the facsimile terminal 13.
