<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the introduction cost and the operation cost by reading recorded information on a credit transaction card in accordance with the classification and the recording code format of a recording medium received from a credit transaction agency and transmitting this information to the credit transaction agency through a communication means. CONSTITUTION:When the telephone number of the credit transaction agency as a desired destination is inputted with a light pen 4, a communication circuit 12 calls this agency through a data processor 9 to cause the agency to transmit information of the classification and the recording code format of the recording medium and transfers reception information to a reader 2. The reader 2 starts a reading part corresponding to the classification of the recording medium to read recorded information on a credit transaction card 20 in accordance with the received recording code format. The data processor 9 displays the picture for input of information of items such as an article name and the amount of money on a display device 3 together with read information, and information of the article name, the amount of money, etc., is inputted by the operation of the light pen 4. Input information is temporarily stored in a RAM 14 and is transmitted to the credit transaction agency of the destination together with information read from the card after the end of in put operation.</p> |
