PURPOSE:To realize mass production of a heat storage substance having stable performance, by impregnating a molten latent-heat storage substance into a porous substance, adding an additive thereto in such a manner that it is attached to the surface of the heat storage substance in a semi-molten state on the way to be solidified, allowing the latent-heat storage substance to be completely solidified to give a heat storage substance, placing this material in a container, and sealing the container. CONSTITUTION:A molten latent-heat storage substance 2 is impregnated into a porous substance 4, and an additive 6 is added thereto in such a manner that it is attached to the surface of the substance 2 in a semi-molten state on the way to be solidified. The substance 2 is then allowed to be completely solidified to give a heat storage material (e.g., plate 4a, 4b or 4c). The material (4a, 4b, 4c) thus obtained is placed in a container 9 and the container is sealed (at a sealed and 11), thereby giving a heat storage substance 7. The sealing can be performed under reduced pressure. |
