PURPOSE:To enhance the filtering efficiency of the water in a water tank, by providing a suction means for sucking up the water in a purifying chamber to reflux the same to the upper part of the water tank and the connection pipe communicating with the flow passage of a water sucking case to be connected to the suction means. CONSTITUTION:A water tank 1 for breeding an aquarium fish such as a goldfish, a tropical fish or a saltwater fish is formed into a box shape and a filter case 3 is mounted to the corner part 2 constituted of two wall surfaces 1a, 1b crossing each other at a right angle of the water tank 1. A water sucking case 5 is arranged to the inner bottom part of the water tank 1 so as to be embedded in the gravel 4 laid in the water tank 1 and the water flowing through the gravel to be purified is guided to the filter case 3 from the water sucking case and further refluxed to the upper part of the water tank 1 along with the water filtered by the filter case 3.
