PURPOSE:To form a proper oil film in simple ways between a shoe and a swash plate by forming a slidable contact surface opposed to the swash plate of the shoe, from the material having the different thermal expansion coefficient to that of the basic material of the shoe and allowing the slidable contact surface to be deformed into a projection surface when a hydraulic device operates. CONSTITUTION:The shoe 37 of a motor has a spherical supporting surface 60 for supporting a ball joint 38 formed at the free edge of the plunger 10 of the motor, and has a relatively thin outer peripheral part 38a. In operation, working oil is supplied into a hydraulic pocket 62 through each through-hole 38a, 61, and an oil film is formed on the slidable contact surface between the shoe 37 and the swash plate 35 of the motor. In this case, plate members 63 having the larger thermal expansion coefficient than that of the basic material of the shoe 37 are laminated onto the slidable contact surface of the shoe 37 positioned on the outer periphery of the hydraulic pocket 62. As the temperature of the shoe 37 rises, the outer peripheral part of the plate member 63 is deformed in the direction departing from the slidable contact surface with the swash plate 35, and the slidable contact surface 63a of the plate member 63 is formed into a projecting surface.
