PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the efficiency of a mooring work, by paying out a rope having one end locked to a rope boat at a maximum speed during coming alongside the pier, by winding up the rope at a maximum speed after the rope is locked to a rigging on the pier, and by operating a mooring machine at a nominal speed in a rope stretching condition during mooring. CONSTITUTION:A mooring machine having such a performance that a nominal speed is in a range from 6 to 75 m/min. and a maximum speed is in a range from 75 to 100 m/min., and having a hydraulic circuit composed of a hydraulic motor 1, a reversible change-over valve 2, a relief valve 3, a counter-balance valve 4 and an auxiliary selector valve 5 which is actuated by a shuttle valve 6. The mooring machine is driven at a maximum speed to pay out a rope during coming alongside of the pier, and the end of the rope is locked to a rope boat. After the boat reaches the pier so that the leading end of the rope is connected to a rigging on the pier, the rope is wound up at its maximum speed. During mooring, the rope is wound at a nominal speed so that the rope is stretched, so as to sustain an automatic tension regulating condition. With this arrangement, works such as snaking-down of the rope and the like, may be eliminated, lt is possible to aim at enhancing the efficiency of mooring. |
