CYLINDRICAL DRUM VESSEL

PURPOSE:To release relative expansion and rotation between a main frame and a cylindrical drum vessel by sealing and fixing the frame aud the vessel to each other at one end and sealing at the other end via an O-ring. CONSTITUTION:In the condition wherein each equipment is assembled, a cylindrical drum vessel 101 is laid on a main frame and the flange 109 thereof is tightened and secured to a fixing flange part 1. Two steps 112 and 113 are formed on the internal surface of a flange 102 opposing the external surface of a loose flange 2. An 0-ring 103 is inserted in the first step 112 and a back-up ring gasket 105 is fitted between the 0-ring 103 and the side wall of the second step 113. Even if thermal stress is generated excessively, the loose flange 2 and the flange 102 of the cylindrical drum vessel opposite thereto can be displaced with a relative sealing condition kept in lengthwise and rotational directions.
