<p>An electrical connector bussing module (11, 102) includes insulating housings (12, 104) having a printed circuit board receiving slot (23, 140) and opposed parallel ends (15, 106, 108). Contact elements (13, 184) are secured to the housings (12, 104) and extend between opposed parallel ends (15, 106, 108) and into the printed circuit board receiving slot (23, 140). The contact elements (13, 184) extend beyond the opposed parallel ends (15, 106, 108) and the opposed parallel ends (15, 106, 108) are profiled for abuttment against a similar edge of a similar module, thereby effecting electrical interconnection between contact elements (13, 184) of similar modules. The opposed parallel ends (15, 106, 108) are profiled with intermatable dovetail extensions (16, 19, 116, 118) which interconnect adjacent and similar modules (11, 102).</p> |
