<p>An annular electromagnetic induction pump is disclosed which operates without an external cooling source for pumping molten metals such as magnesium, lead, zinc, lithium and their alloys. Also disclosed is an electrical insulation material which is serviceable without degradation at temperatures in excess of 700 DEG C. Also disclosed is a six coil version of the pump which provides reduced size advantages.</p> |
