PURPOSE:To produce a copper alloy for build-up welding by laser beam having high sleeve abrasion resistance by incorporating specific ratios of Ni, Si, B, P and Mn into Cu. CONSTITUTION:The copper alloy contg. 1-5wt% Ni and 0.2-5wt% Si and at least either one among 1wt% B, 2wt% P and <=3wt% Mn as a deoxidizing material and the rest consisting of Cu is prepared. The build-up welding by laser beam is executed by using said copper alloy, by which the build-up having high hardness and the high sleeve abrasion resistance, free from the involvement of slag and prevented from the generation of a gaseous defect is obtd. |
