PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a special space for the telephone master set by adopting plural unit structures where the function of the telephone master set is divided and the miniaturized case is used as one unit. CONSTITUTION:The telephone master set 10 is accommodated in individual case units for each function unit dividing and constituting functions. The function units dividing and constituting the functions of the telephone master set 10 are made of external line units 12 accommodating external lines and connecting them, extension units 11 accommodating and connecting extensions, time switch units applying exchange connection between the external lines 30 and the extensions 20 via the units 12, 11 and a control unit 14 controlling the entire system. When the telephone master set 10 is installed in an office, since each unit is arranged at the side face of adjacent office desks, then no special floor is required for the telephone master set 10.
