PURPOSE:To avoid a computer from being monopolied by storing image data converted from a character data outputted from the computer as the image and distributing the stored data to a line network such as a telephone public network or the line based on the output instruction of the computer. CONSTITUTION:When a code data including a character code is sent from a computer 8, the code data is inputted to a code/image converting section 3, where the data is converted into an image data. In this case, if the code data includes a code requesting the storage, the converted image data is stored once in the image storage section 4. Then the network control section 5 by the distribution instruction from the computer 8 distributes sequentially or simultaneously the stored image data in the image storage section 4 to several facsimile equipments through the line network 7. Thus, the distribution is attained by having only to output the character data once.
