<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate flickering phenomena by applying correction based on the picture element on the same horizontal position of the horizontal line of other field clipping picture elements of odd or even field and outputting the corrected data as field data newly. CONSTITUTION:All luminance signals and two kinds of color difference signals demodulated from a video signal are stored while being digitized and three kinds of signals are sent in a video memory circuit, the m-th picture element 611 of the data of a n-th line 61 of the even field is denoted by g (n, m), the m-th picture element 511 of a n-th line 51 of the odd field and the picture element 521 of a (n+1)-th line 52 is denoted by f (n, m), f (n+1, m) respectively. The value f (n+1, m) is given to a 2nd comparator from the even field memory together with the value g (n, m) and the coincidence is checked. When the picture element 611 is not equal to the picture elements 511, 512, the value of the picture element 611 is changed into the middle value of the picture elements 511 and 521.</p> |
