PURPOSE:To enable smooth forward and back ward movement of a step member by constituting a step member such that it can move forward and backward through making a pressing part of a sliding door touched to a seesaw body in the shape of the letter V and slantingly moved in the door moving direction accompanying the opening and closing movement of the sliding door. CONSTITUTION:If a sliding door is moved from the door opened position in the door closed direction, the tip end of a supporting axis of a roller 3a is touched to the first operation piece 19a of a lock device R and a rotary body 19 is rotated in the clockwise direction to the lock release position. When the supporting roller 3a is moved onto a roller supporting surface 11r on the rear part side of a seesaw body 11. Next, when the roller 3a is moved to the roller supporting surface 11f on the front part side and rotated to the position where the seesaw body is inclined forward, the rotational lever 14 is rotated in the N direction interlocking with this rotation, and a fluctuation link 15 is rotated in the Q direction with an axis 30 as the center. By this, a step member 16 is moved backward from the step position to the storing position.
