PURPOSE:To obtain a solid drug for oral administration having shielded disagreeable taste in high efficiency, by adding an organic solvent to a powdery mixture of a drug and a substance capable of shielding disagreeable taste, granulating the product and removing the solvent from the granule. CONSTITUTION:A powdery drug having disagreeable taste (e.g. an antiepileptic such as zonisamide or a macrolide antibiotic substance such as erythromycin, etc.) is mixed with a powdery substance capable of shielding disagreeable taste (usually a polymeric compound hardly soluble or insoluble in water and saliva). The mixture is added with an organic solvent which dissolves the powdery substance and preferably does not dissolve the drug (e.g. ethanol, chloroform, acetone, etc.) and granulated. The organic solvent is removed after granulation. The powdery substance is preferably finer than 100 mesh, especially 200 mesh and the amount of the substance in the final product is <=50wt.%, preferably 3-20wt.%.
