PURPOSE:To simplify power transmission arrangement by arranging a planetary center-differential within a transmission near the center of the body of a vehicle, and transmitting power to front and rear wheels from sun gear shaft through a transfer gear and the like. CONSTITUTION:At the front portion of the body of a vehicle an engine 1, clutch 2 and transmission 3 are arranged laterally in both right and left directions, while at the positions from the transmission 3 to the rear side of the body a front differential 4 and a transfer unit 5 are sequentially arranged. In the above constitution, within the transmission 3 a planetary center-differential 30 is arranged coaxially with an output axis 11. Further the differential 30 is arranged such that a sun gear 31 is meshed with a ring gear 33 through a pinion 32 while the pinion 32 is supported by a carrier 34 and at the same time the carrier 34 is coupled to an output axis 11 in direct, thereby the output from the transmission is taken out by being distributed equally to the sun gear 31 and the ring gear 33.
