PURPOSE:To display a saw-tooth deficit state continuously and to inform an operator of the pitching and wear advance state of saw teeth during operation by providing a vibration sensor, a current detector, a peak value processing circuit, etc. CONSTITUTION:The vibration sensor 1(10) of a display device detects vibrations of a saw cutting machine and inputs detected vibration transition, a vibration speed, and vibration acceleration to a vibration detection signal processing circuit 2(20). Further, the current detection part 3(30) detects the load current of a motor for saw-tooth driving and inputs the detected load current to a motor load current signal processing circuit 4(40). Vibration characteristics of the saw teeth are found for every material by the LPF 23, rectifier 25, etc., of this circuit 2(20) and applied to an input timing circuit 51 together with variation of the load current processed by the BPF 41 and rectifier 42 of the circuit 4(40), so that the variation state of the saw teeth is outputted to a peak value processing circuit 5(50). Then the deficient state of the saw teeth is displayed on a peak value history display device 6(60).
