PURPOSE:To prevent the off-track state of a record and reproduction head in a record and reproduction mode by positioning the center hole of a disk at a center pin by means of the centrifugal force applied to the disk when the disk is driven rotatively by abutting driving part with a part to be driven. CONSTITUTION:When a disk 1 is driven rotatively at high speed, a part 7 to be driven slides toward an arrow head (b), i.e., the outer peripheral side of a disk table 11 along the abutting surfaces 17 and 18 linearly to a driving part 13 and in the direction approximately orthogonal to the rotational direction (arrow head a). Then the center hole 6 of the disk 1 is pressed toward the arrow head (b) and positioned at the single side of a center pin 12 of the table 11. As a result, the disk 1 is driven with high stability and with no deflection caused at all to the center P3 of the table 11. Then the off-track state of a record and reproduction head is prevented and the interchangeability is secured among floppy disks.
