PURPOSE:To easily recognize the attribute of each image at the time of editing the image, by changing recognition display according to the attribute to distinguish a specific image area from another area. CONSTITUTION:An image information managing part 15a stores the attribute information, the position information, and the storage position information of each of plural image area data preserved in an image storage part 15b, and a processor 12 reads out the image to be displayed from the image storage part 15b based on the storage position information, and selects an image area recognition means by the attribute information, and displays the image area based on displayed position information with area recognition display. In this case, assuming the image 1 as a PRINT attribute, and the image 2 as a non- PRINT attribute, the specific image area is distinguished from another area by expressing it in a rectangular shape, and also, expressing its boundary in an alternate long and short dash line in the image 1, and a broken line in the image 2 respectively.
