PURPOSE:To minimize an installation and to improve a working efficiency by giving a repeated bending on a long columnar body by roller caliber trains, then performing a straightening work through the caliber of a ring-shaped tool moving circularly around a center axis of the machine. CONSTITUTION:Inserting press rollers 1, 1' and 4, 4' are provided as plural caliber trains and bending rollers 2, 3 are disposed respectively. More, succeedingly, a rotary housing 8 incorporating the ring-shaped tools 5-1 and 5-2 is provided. While inserting and pressing the long columnar body 9 by the inserting press rollers 1, 1' and 4, 4' to push, the bending is given to the long columnar body 9 by the rollers 2, 3. Succeedingly, the ring-shaped tolls 5-1, 5-2 possessed of eccentricities of E1, E2 revolve while rotating together wit the progress of the long columnar body 9 through friction forces to work the surface of the long columnar body spirally to level. Becaused of simplifying the mechanism, the straightening apparatus is minimized and the efficiency of the straightening work is improved.
