PURPOSE:To eliminate a loss time to enhance workability, by a method wherein a control signal for a next process is sent as the plate replacement of the last unit is completed and the close of a safety cover is detected. CONSTITUTION:As the removal of a plate is completed, a next plate is installed. As the installation is completed, a safty cover for the first color is closed and a switch 9 is pressed to turn ON a contact point 3a of a relay 3 to be driven. At this time however, the safety cover is closed with a contact point 5a ON. Therefore, a plate replacement controller 13 does not control the action that a time-lag motor 15 is driven only during the press of the switch 9 but the rotation of a first-color plate cylinder 22 to a plate replacement position from the ON information of the contact point 3a and the information of a rotary encoder 12. As soon as reaching the position of the first color plate cylinder, which has been already set on the plate replacement position, an operator can start a plate replacement work. |
