PURPOSE:To avoid the flickering and out-of-track problems of the tracking error signal produced in an address reading mode and to shorten the seeking time, by forming a buffering pattern of a prescribed pit form at the head or tail position of an indicator part of a sector part. CONSTITUTION:A buffering pattern 10 of a pit form is provided at least at the head or tail position of an indicator part 8 of a sector part 3 to continue the voltage value of at least 1/3-2/3 offset voltage value of the tracking error signal produced by the pattern of the part 8. The pattern 10 has a similar pit form to those of a synchronizing pattern 8a and an address information pattern 8b of the part 8. Thus, it is possible to eliminate an out-of-tracking problem, i.e., a factor of an address information reading error which causes increase of the seeking time and to obtain a high-density information recording disk which contributes to shortening the seeking time. |
