PURPOSE:To sufficiently follow up fine variation at fast response speed with small-sized and simple constitution by fitting a sensor tracking device to one end of an air spring formed of an elastic member so that a sensor part can be pressed against the surface of a body to be measured. CONSTITUTION:The air spring 12 to which wall body is formed on the elastic member is joined with one flank of a fitting space 10 on the side facing the body A to be measured. A contact shoe 13 is adhered to the peak part of this spring 12. An eddy current type sensor 14 is mounted on the wall body internal surface side of the spring 12 at the part where this shoe 13 is adhered. The sensor part B constituted as mentioned above is put close to the measurement object part of the part A to be measured and compressed air is sent in the spring 12 from an air receiver 20 to expand the spring 12 from a broken-line state to a full-line state, so that the sensor part B is pressed against the measurement object part. Thus, the defect detection of the body A to be measured by an eddy current flaw detecting method is started. The sensor part B follows up the variation of the body A to be measured or the ruggedness of the surface very excellently during the measuring operation. |
