PURPOSE:To obtain a charging device for a lead storage battery able to be properly charged by correcting detecting voltage at an operation starting time of a timer or an operation time of the timer in accordance with a liquid-level of the lead storage battery. CONSTITUTION:When a liquid-level of a storage battery is low, detection voltage at the operation starting time of a timer is raised with a constant operation time of the timer or when the liquid-level is high, the operation starting time of the timer is shortened with constant detection voltage in order to provide a correction function. Since detection voltage or the timer operation time is corrected by such a simple liquid-level detection means, the lead storage battery can be properly charged even when an expensive hydrosensor is not provided. |
