PURPOSE:To obtain plural kinds of output signals by a single magnetic rotary disk by providing magnetic sensors which detect the arrival of the magnetoresistance part and irregular magnetoresistance part of the rotary disk driven by a rotary body to rotate and plural comparators which input the sensor outputs. CONSTITUTION:A base 3 is provided below the rotary disk 1 and a magnet plate 4 is arranged on its top surface. The magnetic sensors 5a and 5b which detect the arrival of notches 1b and 1c are arranged on the top surface of the magnet plate 4. When the rotary disk 1 is driven by the rotary body fixed on a shaft 2 to rotate, the output signals of the sensors 5a and 5b are supplied to the comparators 6A, 6B, and 6Z. As the rotary disk 1 rotates, the notch 1c which is larger in magnetoresistance than the notch 1b arrives at right above the sensors 5a and 5b and signals A' and B' increase in amplitude. Consequently, the comparators 6A, 6B, and 6C output different kinds of signals.
