PURPOSE:To effectively use resources by releasing resources occupied with one operating system if trouble occurs in this system. CONSTITUTION:The resource occupation/release request outputted to a slave operating system 21 is accepted by an occupation/release request means 22, and this request is transmitted to a master operating system 11 by the means 22. In the system 11, this request is accepted by a request input means 12, and resources are occupied or released on the basis of resource management information in a resource management table 15 by an occupation/release processing means 13, and resource management information is updated by an updating means 14. Meanwhile, if trouble occurs in a processor 2, said resource management information related to resources occupied with the system 21 is updated by the updating means 14, and therefore, resources occupied with the system 21 are released and can be used by the system 11. |
