发明名称 REFINING METHOD FOR METAL SOLIDIFIED STRUCTURE
摘要 PURPOSE:To make solidified structure fine by mixing sub-metal under molten state or semi-molten state to main metal under molten state and solidifying these mixed metals in a mold to execute uniformly and rapidly the precipitation of crystal. CONSTITUTION:The main metal 6 (for example, pure Al) and the submetal 7 (for example, Al-Li alloy) are heated and held respectively in an electric furnace 2 for the main metal and an electric furnace 8 for the sib-metal at the prescribed temp. by thermocouples 1. Then, the main metal 6 is always made to higher than the equilibrium liquidus line temp. and the sub-metal 7 is made to higher or lower than its equilibrium liquidus line temp. Next, stoppers 3 at the bottom parts of both electric furnaces 2, 8 are opened, and both metals 6, 7 are mixed by pouring trough 4 and solidified in the graphite mold 5. In this way, the solidified structure of metal and crystal grain size is refived without any addition of alloy element or inoculation agent, etc., from outside, and without applying the force during solidifying from outside.
