摘要 PURPOSE:To improve measurement accuracy by extracting only a figure in a circular area preset in a figure to be measured by using a circular window, computing the gravity center position and area of the extracted figure, and correcting the real gravity center position of the figure to be measured. CONSTITUTION:A binarization circuit 1 compares a video signal outputted by an image pickup camera with a predetermined specific threshold level and sends out two-dimensional binary image data to a circular window circuit 2. The circuit 2 extracts only a picture element data group 5 in the preset circular area 5 from the two-dimensional binary image data. A gravity center and area arithmetic circuit 3 computes the gravity center position O2 and area of the extracted data group 6. A correcting arithmetic circuit 4 finds the real gravity center position data O1 of the circular figure 7 to be measured by corrective arithmetic according to the found gravity center positioned data O2 and area data. Thus when part of the circular figure enters the circular window, its gravity center position can be measured and the magnification of an image pickup optical system is increased to improve the measurement accuracy.
