PURPOSE:To make a substantial saving of fuel oil in a burner and provide an energy saving by a method wherein water is mixed with fuel oil through a throttle valve and a poppet valve within an orifice so as to perform an atomization combustion. CONSTITUTION:An oil water premixed combustion nozzle 21 may feed pressurized fuel oil from an oil feeding pipe 20 into an oil hole 2 and either pressurized water or hot water is fed from a water feeding pipe 19 into a water feeding pipe 17. The fuel oil is passed from an oil hole 2 through a communicating hole 4 into a strainer 15, filtered therein and then mixed with either water or hot water flowed from a water feeding pipe 17. Fuel oil mixed with the water is flowed from a hole 11 of a valve pressing element 12 and a branch flow groove 9 of a poppet valve 10, rapidly circulated during its flow in a circulation groove 7b, resulting in that the molecules of the fuel oil and the water are efficiently mixed. Then, the liquid may flow through a clearance between a peripheral side surface of a throttle valve 8 and an inner surface of the orifice 6, the fuel oil and the water are mixed to each other while passing through the circulation groove 7a and the ignition is made while the liquid is atomized and injected through a minute injection hole 5.
