PURPOSE:To lower noise by optimizing essential parameters for specifying the space distribution of the chord line center point of the blade of an axial flow impeller. CONSTITUTION:A blade 1 is largely forwardly inclined toward the intake side of a gaseous body being formed into a three dimensionally curved shape. It passes through the center points PR, Pb of two chord lines, and the distance toward a plane Sc is defined as Ls, while the value of deltaz in, deltaz=tan<-1>(Ls/R-Rb), being defined as 12.5 deg.-32.5 deg.. Also, when the chord line center points in the other direction are defined as P'R, while the angle of a straight line P'R-O to the X-axis being defined as deltatheta, deltatheta=deltathetatX(R-Rb)/(Rt-Rb) where, Rt=the radius of a blade tip, Rb=the radius of a blade boss, and deltathetat=the angle of a straight line P't-O to the X-axis, with the deltathetat=40 deg.-50 deg.. Thereby, essential parameters for specifying the space distribution of the chord line center points can be optimized, lowering noise.
