摘要 PURPOSE:To make an engine intake air quantity control for securing a high resolution and responsiveness, by connecting the output shaft of a rotor to the rotating shaft of a throttle valve integrally, and providing a stepping motor to drive the rotor in rotation. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve (M3) rotatably supported on a rotary shaft (M2) is disposed in an intake air conduit (M1). The output shaft (M6) of a rotor (M5) is connected to the rotary shaft (M2) integrally. A stepping motor (M8) drives the rotor (M5) in rotation by switching magnetization for a plurality of magnetic poles (M7). A control means (M9) outputs driving control signals to the stepping motor (M8). The control means (M9) has a dither control unit (M10) which makes a duty control of driving control signal to be applied to magnetic poles (M7) adjacent to each other. The engine intake air quantity control can thus be achieved by securing a high resolution and responsiveness.
