VOLTAGE PHASE CONTROL TRANSFORMER

PURPOSE:To cut two pieces of necessary transformers down to a single piece by adding two pairs of divided tap windings to a voltage control transformer and combining these windings alternately with a pair of divided tap windings wound in another phase. CONSTITUTION:A tap winding 5 wound in phase U and a tap winding 6 wound in phase W are connected to a phase control tap winding for phase V by an amount equal to a single tap. Such a combination is repeated. In such a constitution, a vector V'v having a rectangular component against a vector OV' is obtained by adding the vector V'm obtained by a tap winding wound in a phase and the vector mv obtained by a tap winding wound in another phase. Then the vector V'v is added to the vector OV' for acquisition of the vector Ov of the secondary terminal voltage having a phase difference against the vector OV of the primary terminal voltage. Thus, the phase controlling tap winding can be wound round a voltage control transformer and therefore two transformers so far needed can be cut down just to a single piece.
